We will celebrate the release of this album with Takashi and Shun on October 13th at Pit-Inn Shinjuku !!!

Pierre Fenichel, Fred Pasqua and myself are WAKAN. The first project of this equilateral trio called ‘Being Dantès’ is available now on vinyl, CD or digital formats. Compositions are shared between the three of us, and are inspired by the metamorphosis that Alexandre Dumas’ character Edmond Dantès have gone through while being jailed in the Chateau d’If, eventually shaping him as a future Count of Monte Cristo.

You can order the vinyls and CDs as well as access the streamings of ‘Being Dantès’ at this link.
You can also download the music in high-res from WAKAN’s Bandcamp.
You can follow WAKAN at their Facebook page or their Instagram profile.
You can find some videos of the trio at their Youtube Channel.

Meanwhile, here are the three in-extenso extracts taken from ‘Being Dantès’.

Pierre Fenichel’s composition “Aldous’ Journey’

My own composition '“Major”

And Pierre Fenichel’s composition “L’aile d’un rêve”

Hoping you will enjoy!!! And if so, don’t hesitate to share! Thanks!
